ScanClient is an easy to use but still powerful application to capture all kinds of documents from office (mail inbox, supporting documents) and engineering (technical drawings, datasheets, instructionbooks and manuals) via scanner and post edit them. The output format can be TIF, JPEG, PDF, PDF/A Image as well as export to PDFor PDF/A OCR documents.

ScanClient supports the direct connected  TWAIN-Scanner as well as Network- and Multifunctionals, which have a "Scan-to-file" function. Documents can be inserted from scanner, Drag and Drop, from the inbox, from defined folders or explorer selection. With the integrated workflow functionality documents which are recorded at a workstation, can be forwarded to other ScanClient users. For notification the recipient receives an E-Mail message. The Export can be as TIF-/JPG-, PDF-Image or PDFOCR document. Single documents can be combined to a complete document or sent by E-Mail.

Many documents are still available in paper or are received via inbox. Also these documents must be available for an electronic processing and archiving.

The Barcode Option allows the automatic identification of 1DBarcodes.
